The Otter Oasis Ecosystem is a developing digital ecosystem designed to connect Eco Rangers, Digital Participation Shares, Membership, Rewards, a project-controlled Treasury, Bonds & Yield, the Park Fund and future marketplace activity around one long-term vision.
However, that vision is bigger than a blockchain project. Otter Oasis began with an ambition to one day create a real-world destination centred around fishing, nature, wildlife, family experiences, education and accommodation. The digital ecosystem is being built first to create structure, community and dedicated funding layers that can support that ambition over time.
At the same time, it is important to be clear about where the project stands today. The Otter Oasis app is still in development and has never been publicly released. Nobody has used it as a live public ecosystem. Land for the physical park has not been purchased and planning permission has not been secured.
This Otter Oasis Ecosystem Guide explains the current model, how its different parts connect and what each layer is intended to do.
What Is The Otter Oasis Ecosystem?
Otter Oasis is being developed as a collection of connected systems rather than one NFT, one token or one revenue stream. For that reason, each part has a defined role and, where applicable, its own funding allocation.
- Eco Rangers form the founding digital collection and identity layer.
- Digital Participation Shares provide an ecosystem participation unit and create Share Points.
- Membership activates the current monthly Share Point calculation and eligible Ranger utility.
- Rewards receive defined allocations from ecosystem revenue sources.
- Treasury builds project-controlled reserves for long-term ecosystem strength.
- Bonds & Yield is the productive-capital layer using selected external DeFi opportunities.
- Park Fund builds dedicated resources towards the long-term physical vision.
- Operations supports development and ongoing project costs.
- Marketplace is a planned future layer with its own fee allocation model.
Therefore, the purpose of connecting these layers is to avoid making the whole project dependent on one source of income or one type of participation.
Where The Project Stands Today
Otter Oasis is currently in its Foundation Building Stage. The website, documentation, ecosystem structure, contracts and app development are being worked on before a wider public release.
In other words, screenshots of the app show development work, not a live public platform. Current reward figures are reference amounts within the model being developed and should not be treated as guaranteed returns.
Meanwhile, the physical park is also a future ambition rather than an existing development. A suitable site would still need to be identified and acquired, professional advice and surveys obtained, planning requirements addressed and sufficient funding available.

Eco Rangers: The Founding Digital Collection
Eco Rangers are the founding NFT collection within the Otter Oasis Ecosystem. The current collection has a maximum supply of 9,146 Rangers, a current mint reference of $110, and is being developed on Base using the ERC-721 NFT standard.
Importantly, Rangers are designed as digital collectibles, identity and utility assets within Otter Oasis. They do not represent company equity, ownership of land or a future park, voting rights, or ownership of Treasury and other project assets.
Current Ranger Membership Utility
Under the current model, an active Membership can make up to 10 Eco Rangers in a connected wallet eligible for the Ranger reward calculation. The current reference is $5 per eligible Ranger per month.
- 1 eligible Ranger = $5 monthly reference
- 3 eligible Rangers = $15 monthly reference
- 5 eligible Rangers = $25 monthly reference
- 10 eligible Rangers = $50 monthly reference
However, these are reference amounts only, not guaranteed returns. Actual claimable amounts depend on the Rewards Pool and amounts credited under the system.
This replaces earlier concepts involving percentage-based NFT boosters and Reward Power. Those older mechanics are not part of the current model.

How Eco Ranger Mint Revenue Is Allocated
- 40% Rewards
- 20% Treasury
- 15% Bonds & Yield
- 15% Park Fund
- 10% Operations

Digital Participation Shares And Share Points
Digital Participation Shares are one of the main participation layers within the ecosystem. The current model has a maximum primary supply of 500,000 Shares.
5 Digital Participation Shares = 1 Share Point.
For example, Shares can be held without an active Membership. Under the current model, however, an active Membership is required for the monthly Share Point reward calculation.
Importantly, the word “Shares” refers to digital ecosystem participation units. They are not shares in a company and do not provide equity, voting rights, ownership of Otter Oasis, land, a future park, Treasury reserves or other project-controlled assets.
The Otter Oasis Shares Engine explains this layer in more detail.

Membership: The Active Participation Layer
In addition, Membership works alongside Shares and Eco Rangers. It is not an ownership product. Its role is to provide an active participation layer with a monthly Share Point reference, Community Bonus Level and eligible Ranger utility.
For example, the current five Membership tiers are:
- Starter, $10/month: $0.15 per Share Point monthly reference and $1 CBL per month.
- Plus, $25/month: $0.20 per Share Point monthly reference and $2 CBL per month.
- Basic, $50/month: $0.30 per Share Point monthly reference and $3 CBL per month.
- Pro, $100/month: $0.35 per Share Point monthly reference and $7.50 CBL per month.
- Premium, $200/month: $0.50 per Share Point monthly reference and $15 CBL per month.
These figures describe the current system design and do not create a guaranteed return. Membership also enables the current Ranger eligibility model described above.
See How An Active Membership Works for the detailed explanation.
How Shares And Membership Revenue Is Allocated
However, primary Digital Participation Share and Membership revenue uses a different allocation from Eco Ranger mint revenue:
- 40% Rewards
- 10% Treasury
- 10% Bonds & Yield
- 35% Park Fund
- 5% Operations
As a result, the larger Park Fund allocation reflects the role these layers are intended to play in supporting the long-term real-world ambition.
The Rewards Pool
In addition, the Rewards Pool receives defined percentages from several ecosystem revenue sources. It is the pool from which eligible reward amounts can be credited and claimed under the system.
Therefore, this is an important difference from promising a fixed investment return. Reference calculations can show how the model is designed to work, but actual claimable rewards depend on the funds available and amounts credited to the Rewards Pool.
Rewards are therefore one component of Otter Oasis, not the entire reason for the ecosystem to exist.
The Otter Oasis Treasury
The Otter Oasis Treasury is a project-controlled reserve intended to strengthen the ecosystem over time and provide flexibility for future development.
Importantly, participants do not own a percentage of the Treasury simply because they hold Rangers, Digital Participation Shares or Membership. Treasury assets remain project controlled and are intended to support the wider ecosystem.
As a result, defined revenue allocations allow the Treasury to build separately from Rewards, Bonds & Yield, Park Fund and Operations rather than placing everything into one general wallet.

Bonds & Yield: Productive Capital
Bonds & Yield is designed as a separate productive-capital layer. The intention is to use selected external DeFi opportunities rather than leave all allocated capital inactive.
However, DeFi carries risk. Values can fall, protocols can fail, smart contracts can contain vulnerabilities and returns can change. Otter Oasis does not promise a guaranteed APR or guaranteed yield.
Instead, the model focuses on realised profit. Under the current structure, realised Bonds & Yield profit is allocated:
- 25% Rewards
- 20% Treasury
- 40% Reinvestment
- 10% Park Fund
- 5% Operations
As a result, reinvestment allows part of realised profit to remain in the productive-capital layer rather than distributing everything out of it.

The Park Fund And The Physical Vision
Meanwhile, the Park Fund is deliberately separate from the Treasury because it has a different purpose. It is intended to accumulate resources that may contribute towards the future physical Otter Oasis vision.
For example, potential costs could include land, professional advice, surveys, planning work, infrastructure and development, depending on the site eventually pursued and the approvals required.
Importantly, at present, Otter Oasis has not purchased land for the park and has not secured planning permission. A funded Park Fund does not guarantee that a physical park will be built. Any development would depend on suitable land, professional advice, planning decisions, infrastructure requirements, available resources and other practical factors.
The concept itself can be explored on the Park Vision page.

Operations: The Part That Keeps Development Moving
In addition, Operations receives a defined allocation because websites, app development, contracts, infrastructure, professional services, administration and ongoing project work all have costs.
Therefore, separating Operations from the Treasury and Park Fund makes the purpose of those funds clearer and reduces the temptation to describe every project expense as coming from one large pool.
The Planned Otter Oasis Marketplace
Looking ahead, a Marketplace is planned as a future ecosystem layer. It is not currently a live public marketplace.
For example, under the current planning model, a 5% marketplace fee would be allocated:
- 50% Rewards
- 25% Treasury
- 15% Park Fund
- 5% Operations
- 5% Reinvestment
Because the Marketplace is still planned, its design and implementation may change before release.

How The Otter Oasis Ecosystem Money Flow Connects
The easiest way to understand the ecosystem is to follow the flow rather than look at every feature separately.
Eco Ranger mint revenue seeds Rewards, Treasury, Bonds & Yield, Park Fund and Operations. Shares and Membership revenue funds the same five broad areas but places a larger percentage into the Park Fund. Realised Bonds & Yield profit can then feed Rewards, Treasury and Park Fund while also reinvesting capital and supporting Operations.
In addition, a future Marketplace is intended to create another potential revenue source rather than making the ecosystem depend entirely on primary sales.
This connected structure is the central idea behind the Otter Oasis Ecosystem Loop.
The Otter Oasis App
Meanwhile, the app is being developed as the interface that brings the ecosystem layers together. Current development covers areas such as Eco Rangers, buying Shares, Membership, Rewards, a user Dashboard, Treasury, Bonds & Yield, Marketplace and Park Fund.
However, the app has never been publicly live. Screenshots shown across the website are development previews and should not be interpreted as evidence of a released platform or existing public user activity.
Our Otter Oasis App Build article gives a closer look at the development work.
Why Otter Oasis Uses Base
Otter Oasis is being developed on Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 network. Base provides an environment for deploying smart contracts and blockchain applications while generally offering lower transaction costs than using Ethereum mainnet directly.
In addition, using Base gives Otter Oasis access to the wider Ethereum-compatible ecosystem and established development tooling.
You can read our project-specific reasoning in Why We Chose Base, or visit the official Base website for information about the network itself.
What Participants Do And Do Not Own
Because Otter Oasis uses terms such as NFTs, Shares, Treasury and Rewards, the boundaries need to be clear.
- Eco Rangers are digital collectibles and utility assets, not company equity.
- Digital Participation Shares are ecosystem participation units, not company shares or securities representing ownership of Otter Oasis.
- Membership does not create ownership rights.
- Participants do not own a proportion of the Treasury, Bonds & Yield assets, Park Fund, company, land or future physical park through these ecosystem products.
- Current reward references are not guaranteed returns.
Furthermore, blockchain and DeFi activity also involves technical, market and protocol risks. Anyone considering participation should read the project documentation and understand those risks before making their own decision.
How Everything Works Together
Ultimately, the Otter Oasis Ecosystem is easiest to see as a cycle.
Eco Rangers establish the founding collection and help seed the funding layers. Digital Participation Shares create Share Points. Membership activates the current monthly Share Point calculation and eligible Ranger utility. Revenue allocations feed Rewards, Treasury, Bonds & Yield, Park Fund and Operations.
Next, Bonds & Yield is intended to add a productive-capital layer. Realised profit can then flow back into several parts of the ecosystem while a portion is reinvested. A future Marketplace is intended to add another source of ecosystem activity and fees.
Meanwhile, the Park Fund builds separately towards the long-term physical ambition.
Therefore, no single layer is intended to tell the whole Otter Oasis story. The model is the connection between them.
Where To Start With Otter Oasis
Finally, if you are discovering the project for the first time, there is no need to understand every calculation immediately.
Start with the Otter Oasis home page and Park Vision to understand the idea. Then explore the Eco Rangers collection, Shares and Membership guides if you want to understand the digital participation model.
The Docs area brings together the project's wider documentation, and the free Original Rangers list is available for people who simply want to follow development before launch.
Final Thoughts On The Otter Oasis Ecosystem
Ultimately, the Otter Oasis Ecosystem is still being built. It is not a finished public platform and the physical park is not an existing development.
Instead, what exists today is the foundation of a connected model: Eco Rangers, Digital Participation Shares, Membership, Rewards, Treasury, Bonds & Yield, Park Fund, Operations, documentation and an app under development.
Therefore, the aim is to build those foundations transparently, test the model before wider use and gradually work towards a much larger real-world vision.
As a result, this guide will continue to be one of the central places for understanding how the ecosystem fits together as Otter Oasis develops.
