THE OTTER OASIS PARK VISION
From a Fishing-Lake Dream to a Place People Can Experience
The long-term vision for Otter Oasis is a nature-led holiday park built around fishing, wildlife, comfortable stays, family time and a community that has followed the journey from the beginning.
Where the Vision Began
The original idea was simple: create a fishing lake and a peaceful place people would genuinely want to visit. Over time that idea grew into something much bigger. Otter Oasis became a vision for a destination where water, wildlife, lodges, outdoor experiences and community could all belong together.
š£ It Started With Fishing
Fishing was the seed of the idea: peaceful water, time outdoors and a destination people could return to again and again.
šæ Then Came Nature
The vision expanded to protect and improve the natural setting, with wildlife, habitat areas and quieter spaces forming part of the park itself.
š” Then a Place to Stay
Eco-style lodges and family experiences turned the idea from a day visit into a destination where people could slow down and stay longer.
The Park We Want to Create
The aim is not to fill a site with attractions for the sake of it. The vision is for each part of Otter Oasis to give visitors another reason to enjoy the landscape, spend time together and come back.
š£ Fishing Lakes
Well-planned lakes with comfortable swims and a peaceful atmosphere, giving anglers somewhere enjoyable to spend a full day or longer.
š” Eco Lodges
Comfortable lodges designed to sit naturally within the surroundings and give couples, families and anglers a base for their stay.
𦦠Otter Habitat
A dedicated habitat and viewing experience that puts the animal behind the Otter Oasis name at the heart of the nature story.
š² Nature Trails
Walking routes, planted areas and quieter corners where visitors can enjoy the landscape instead of rushing from one attraction to another.
šØāš©āš§ Family Experiences
Outdoor activities and shared experiences that give children and adults reasons to explore, play and make memories together.
ā CafĆ© & Gathering Space
A welcoming place for food, drinks, a small shop and community meet-ups, giving the park a natural social centre.
A Park Designed Around the Landscape
Otter Oasis is intended to feel like one connected place rather than a collection of unrelated attractions. Lakes, lodges, paths, wildlife areas and shared spaces should work with the land and with each other.
The goal is a destination where visitors can choose a busy family day, a quiet walk, a fishing break or simply time away surrounded by nature.
Nature Is Part of the Plan
The park vision includes habitat protection, thoughtful planting, education and opportunities for visitors to enjoy wildlife responsibly. Conservation should be part of how Otter Oasis develops, not something added at the end.
Habitat
Create and protect areas where wildlife can thrive alongside the visitor experience.
Education
Help families and younger visitors understand more about wildlife, water and the natural environment.
Conservation
Improve the land over time through responsible management, planting and environmental projects.
More Than a Holiday Park
The bigger idea is to create somewhere people feel connected to. Families can make memories, anglers can return for another session, the community can meet in the real world and visitors can leave with a stronger appreciation for the natural setting around them.
Family Time
A place to put the screens down, get outdoors and spend proper time together.
Community Events
Events and meet-ups that turn an online community into real shared experiences.
A Reason to Return
Different experiences for different visitors, giving people more than one reason to come back.
From Vision to Reality
This is a long-term vision, not a claim that the finished park already exists. Otter Oasis is being developed step by step, beginning with the community and digital foundations while working toward the real-world destination described on this page.
