UNDERSTAND THE RISKS

Risk Disclosure

Participation in the Otter Oasis ecosystem involves technology, digital-asset and project-development risks. This page highlights important risks to consider before you choose to participate.

Read This Before Participating

This disclosure is intended to help you understand material risks associated with the Otter Oasis ecosystem. It is not exhaustive, and risks can change as technology, markets, the project and applicable rules develop.

Nothing here is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Make your own decisions, carry out your own research and obtain independent professional advice where appropriate.

Digital Participation Shares

Digital Participation Shares are ecosystem participation units. They are not company shares or equity and do not give holders voting rights, ownership of Otter Oasis, ownership of land or property, or ownership of any future holiday park.

The word “Shares” is the name used for these participation units within the ecosystem. Their operation, eligibility and reward mechanics should be understood from the current official Otter Oasis documentation before participating.

No Guaranteed Returns or Reward Amounts

Eco Rangers, Digital Participation Shares and Memberships may be connected to reward mechanisms described in current Otter Oasis documentation. Any reward examples, reference values, calculators or illustrations are explanatory only.

Rewards are not guaranteed income, profit, interest, yield or investment returns. Actual claimable rewards can depend on eligibility rules, available Rewards Pool amounts, credited funds, smart-contract operation and other ecosystem conditions. Amounts may be lower than examples shown, unavailable for a period, or change in future.

Digital Asset and Price Risk

Cryptoassets and NFTs can be volatile. Their market value can rise or fall quickly, and there may be little or no market for an asset when you want to sell or transfer it. You could receive less than you paid, or potentially lose the full economic value associated with a digital asset.

Do not assume that an Eco Ranger NFT, participation unit or any other ecosystem feature will increase in value or that another person will be willing to buy it from you.

Liquidity and Exit Risk

An ability to acquire an ecosystem item does not guarantee an ability to sell, transfer or exit it later. Marketplaces, buyers, liquidity, technical transfer functionality and applicable ecosystem rules may change or may not be available when you want to exit.

Where an Otter Oasis feature has specific holding periods, exit rules or eligibility conditions, those rules should be reviewed before participation. Never rely on an assumed resale price or guaranteed buyer.

Blockchain and Smart-Contract Risk

Smart contracts and blockchain networks can contain bugs, vulnerabilities or unexpected behaviour. Transactions may fail, be delayed or execute differently from what a user expects. Network congestion, outages, forks, protocol changes and third-party infrastructure can also affect access or operation.

Blockchain transactions are commonly irreversible. If assets are sent to the wrong address or a transaction is approved incorrectly, recovery may not be possible.

Wallet, Security and Scam Risk

You are responsible for protecting your wallet, devices and credentials. Phishing, malicious websites, fake support accounts, compromised devices, fraudulent token approvals and stolen credentials can result in loss of digital assets.

Otter Oasis will never need your seed phrase or private keys. Never provide them to anyone claiming to represent Otter Oasis. Always check the website, wallet address, network, transaction details and permissions before approving a transaction.

Third-Party and Infrastructure Risk

Otter Oasis may rely on or link to third-party wallets, blockchain networks, hosting, payment services, exchanges, marketplaces, APIs or other technology providers. A third party can change its service, fees, rules or availability without Otter Oasis controlling that decision.

Failure, suspension, security incidents or policy changes at a third-party provider could affect your ability to access or use part of the ecosystem.

Regulatory and Tax Risk

Laws, regulations, regulatory guidance and tax treatment relating to cryptoassets, NFTs, blockchain services and online community models can change. A change may affect how an ecosystem feature can be offered, accessed or operated in a particular jurisdiction.

Otter Oasis may need to modify, restrict, pause or discontinue a feature to respond to legal, regulatory, tax or compliance requirements. You are responsible for understanding obligations that apply to you and your jurisdiction.

Project and Development Risk

Otter Oasis is an evolving project. Features shown in roadmaps, documents, demonstrations or concept pages may change, be delayed, be replaced or not launch. Development depends on factors including funding, technology, suppliers, professional support, community participation and regulatory requirements.

There is no guarantee that every planned ecosystem component will be completed exactly as currently described.

Future Park and Real-World Development Risk

The Otter Oasis eco-tourism and holiday-park concept is a future vision rather than a completed development. Land acquisition, planning permission, environmental requirements, financing, construction costs, professional surveys, infrastructure, licensing and other factors can affect whether, where, when or in what form a real-world park proceeds.

Participation in the digital ecosystem does not give a participant ownership of any future land, buildings, facilities or park business.

Operational and Funding Risk

The ecosystem depends on sufficient operational resources and ongoing development. Revenue, treasury balances, reward-pool funding and project costs can vary. Unexpected expenses, lower-than-expected participation or changes in operating conditions can affect timelines and ecosystem activity.

Descriptions of intended allocations or funding flows explain the current model; they should not be interpreted as a guarantee that future revenue or funding will reach any particular level.

Information and Forward-Looking Statements

Statements about future products, facilities, partnerships, timelines, rewards, growth, revenue, ecosystem expansion or park development are forward-looking and involve uncertainty. Actual outcomes may differ materially from plans or examples.

Website pages and documents can also become outdated as the project evolves. Check the current official documentation before relying on a particular figure, rule or feature description.

Participate Responsibly

Only participate with money or digital assets you can afford to commit or lose. Do not use money required for rent or mortgage payments, household bills, food, essential living costs, debt repayments or emergency savings.

Take time to understand what you are interacting with before approving any blockchain transaction. If you do not understand a feature, its risks or its rules, do not participate until you do.
